Low Carb Tortilla wrap

note this recipe has no macros included but you can compute it using fitness pal

Makes 10 wraps

  • 1 cup coconut flour
  • 4 tbsp psyllium husk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 medium eggs (i used 2 XL)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water. (Add 1/4c at a time until maging dough. Pwedrng hindi maubos lahat ng water)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • oil for frying (as needed)
Procedure 
  1. Sift coconut flour, salt and baking powder. Add psyllium husk (and garlic powder)
  2. Add egg and oil, mix well
  3. Add hot water and mix well. Set aside for 15mins
  4. After 15mins, knead dough until smooth
  5. Separate into 10 equal balls (i used a food scale to equally measure the dough)
  6. Roll flat using rolling pin (You can use a plate as a guide to get smooth edges)
  7. Make sure to keep working area and rolling pin oiled to prevent sticking
  8. Heat non-stick pan or put drops of oil if using non-stick pan
  9. Place wrap in pan, cover and cook for 2 to 3 mins
  10. Flip and cook for another 2 mins, covered.
